Online Business Software. All together better.
9 Spokes is a start up which provides online business software. It is a cloud integration and brokerage platform aimed at SMEs. They came to us in the early stages of their business, with a clear vision that they needed a strong digital brand which would sing right from the start. Initially it was about attracting investors & partners, all key to the success of the young business.
We began with brand strategy, developing a brand personality and story which would set this platform apart, or above, all the many other cloud apps out in the already crowded market place.
This included a strong brand positioning and strapline: 'Online business software – All together better', and a logo and idenitity which was fresh, contemporary and bold.
After initial presentation templates, the first large piece of design collateral the new brand was applied to was the online application or portal, which is also in fact the product. This is an ongoing project currently about to go live.
We then began to develop the corporate identity including business cards, email signatures, letter heads, and email templates. Various other pieces of collateral have followed such as document templates, competition landing pages, and blog design leading to brand guidelines including copy tone and manner.
Then we developed the Spokesman, our mascot who leads you through the world of cloud apps on the marketing site. The marketing site tells the whole story of 9 Spokes with a nice short video to summarise it all at the start.
More than a year and a half after we began, 9 Spokes now believe that this strong brand presence has helped them get the business off the ground and really helped to sell the 9 Spokes idea from the start.
